Maid of Spirit

Maid of Spirit is a glorious Invincible Spirit mare out of Indian Maiden, a Group 3  and multiple-listed winner, rated 104. Maid of Spirit is half sister to two black type winners, Group 3 winner, Maid in India, and listed winner Love Spirit.

Maid of Spirit's family remains very active with her half sister, Shortmile Lady, producing two Group 2 winners, namely Lemista and Sakheer, the latter now standing at stud in Ireland. She was herself a winner over 5 and 6 furlongs with a TFR of 85.

Her most recent foal, a colt by Chaldean, sold for Gns 100,000 at Tattersalls foal sale in 2025. Prior to that her Starspangledbanner yearling colt sold at Goffs Premier sale in 2025 for E56,000.  She also sold a Bated Breath filly foal for Gns 65,000 which is now in training in America, having placed in only her second race.

Maid of Spirit has a 2026 colt foal by leading European stallion Zarak and is due to visit Frankel's talented son, Diego Valesquez, shortly.
