Apedroc's Shaquille yearling filly on track for a fast start at Charlie Hills' yard

Apedroc broodmare Lyra's Light delivered a cracking Shaquille filly last year, stable name Truffle,  who made her way to Tattersalls Book 2 this week. She was a popular attraction in advance of the sale, bearing a striking resemblance to her colourful sprinting champion sire, and having inherited his splendidly athletic walk too. After some lively bidding, she is now on her way to Charlie Hills yard in Lambourn, via an instructive stay at the breakers. We are looking forward to seeing her first steps on the track, and judging by her mature demeanour, this should not be too long away.
